delete()

Delete the experiment and any orphaned satellite entities.

Sensors, sensor platforms, populations, traits, datasets, seasons, and sites associated with this experiment are deleted if — after the experiment is removed — they're not associated with any other experiment. Accessions reached via the experiment's populations (through population_accessions) are dropped when no surviving population still holds them; lines are dropped when no surviving accession still references them. Entities shared with other experiments (or other populations/accessions) are preserved.

Returns:

Name Type Description
bool bool

True if the experiment was deleted, False otherwise.
